Review requests that actually get a response

The best time to ask for a review isn't when you think — and the message matters more than the channel.

Reviews are the cheapest marketing you'll ever do, but most owners ask at the wrong moment or with a message that feels like spam.

Send the request within 24 hours of finishing the job, while the experience is fresh. Keep it short, personal, and link directly to the review page — never make the customer hunt for it.

If they don't respond in a week, one polite reminder is fine. Two is pushy. Three and you're the reason they left a one-star.
