Writing quotes that win — a 10-minute template

What separates a quote that gets accepted from one that gets ghosted? Specificity, scope, and a clear next step.

A great quote does three things: it tells the customer exactly what they're getting, removes the guesswork on price, and makes saying 'yes' the easiest option.

Lead with the outcome, not the line items. 'A fully tiled bathroom, ready to use in 5 days' beats a list of materials any day.

Always include a clear expiry date and a single call to action. Ambiguity kills deals — a quote with no deadline becomes a quote with no decision.
